Professor Nikolay V. Nudnov, Doctor of Medical Sciences (awarded 1999), currently holds three key positions: Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology (RSCRR), Professor at the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Department of the Russian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education, and Professor at the Oncology and Radiology Department of RUDN University (Moscow).
N. Nudnov graduated from the N.I. Pirogov Second Moscow State Medical Institute in 1978 and obtained his Candidate of Medical Sciences degree (PhD) in 1983. His early career included positions as Junior then Senior Researcher in the Computed Tomography Department at the A.V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery from 1983-1987.
His career at the Central Clinical Military Hospital of the FSB of Russia spanned 25 years (1987-2012). He headed the Computed Tomography Department from 1987.
In 1995, he became Head of the Department of Radiological Diagnostic Methods and Chief Specialist in Radiological Diagnostics for the FSB's Military Medical Directorate. Then he served as Deputy Chief of the Hospital for Medical Affairs (1995-2001) and subsequently as Chief of the Hospital (2001-2012).
In 2012, Professor Nudnov transitioned to the Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology (RSCRR), where he assumed his current role as Deputy Director for Scientific Work
