Программа лечения обычно включает в себя хирургическое вмешательство, химиотерапию и дистанционную лучевую терапию. Стратегии лечения, направленные на уменьшение поздних побочных эффектов, значительно повысили интерес к брахитерапии, в частности, при лечении сарком мягких тканей и светлоклеточной аденокарциномы, так как при этих злокачественных новообразованиях лишь ограниченный целевой лечебный объем должен получить значительную дозу облучения, часто превышающую толерантные дозы окружающих опухоль нормальных тканей и структур.</p><p>Статья содержит следующие разделы:</p><sec><title>• Введение</title><p>• Введение</p><p>• Методические аспекты брахитерапии у детей</p><p>• Клинические показания для применения метода брахитерапии у детей в зависимости от локализации опухоли</p><p>› Брахитерапия светлоклеточной аденокарциномы у детей</p><p>› Техника выполнения брахитерапии у детей</p><p>› Суммарная очаговая доза, мощность дозы и фракционирование брахитерапии у детей</p></sec><sec><title>• Выводы</title><p>• Выводы</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article, based on an analysis of the results of the work of leading cancer centers in the world, provides an overview of the possibilities of brachytherapy in the treatment of malignant tumors in children, presents indications for brachytherapy at the present stage of development of pediatric oncology. Malignant neoplasms in children are relatively rare, with an annual frequency of 13–14 cases per 100,000 children under the age of 15 years and make up less than 1 % of all cancer cases in developed countries.</p><p>In the treatment of tumors in children, as a rule, a multimodal (integrated) approach is used. A treatment program usually includes surgery, chemotherapy, and external radiation therapy.
