Рак почечной лоханки, в частности, плоскоклеточной формы — крайне редкое новообразование данной локализации. Считается, что одним из факторов риска для данного заболевания является хроническое воспаление на фоне наличия конкрементов в чашечно-лоханочной системе. Не имея специфических клинических проявлений на ранних стадиях, эта опухоль зачастую является случайной находкой, выявленной при обследовании пациентов по другим причинам. В настоящей статье представлен клинический случай плоскоклеточного рака почечной лоханки у пациента с длительным течением мочекаменной болезни и наличием коралловидных камней, осложнившихся абсцессом почки, диагностированным по данным КТ и МРТ.

Cancer of the renal pelvis, in particular the squamous cell form, is an extremely rare neoplasm of this localization. Chronic inflammation is thought to be a risk factor for this disease due to the presence of stones in the collecting system. Having no specific clinical manifestations, this tumor is often an incidental finding identified during examination of patients for other reasons.

This article presents a clinical case of squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis in a patient with a long course of urolithiasis and the presence of staghorn stones, complicated by a kidney abscess diagnosed by CT and MRI.
