По результатам ПЭТ/КТ, данным лабораторных анализов и анамнеза был заподозрен эозинофильный фасциит. По месту жительства пациенту была проведена глубокая биопсия кожи, мышц, фасции левого плеча. Биопсия проведена с учетом данных ПЭТ/КТ из области наибольшей метаболической активности. По результатам морфологического исследования подтвержден диагноз эозинофильного фасциита.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение: ПЭТ/КТ позволила в совокупности с клинико-лабораторными данными предположить диагноз эозинофильного фасциита, исключив паранеопластический синдром, а также определить оптимальную область проведения биопсии.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Purpose</title><p>Purpose: Assessment of PET capabilities in the diagnosis of eosinophilic fasciitis.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods: A 37-year-old patient with complaints of subfebrile temperature, weight loss, swelling of the lower extremities, difficulty in movement in the knee joints underwent PET/CT with 18F-FDG to exclude paraneoplastic syndrome. According to the results of PET/CT, laboratory tests and anamnesis, eosinophilic fasciitis was suspected. A deep biopsy of the skin, muscles, fascia of the left shoulder was performed. Localization was chosen taking into account the convenience of anatomical access for biopsy, based on the highest values of accumulation of 18F-FDG. According to the results of morphological examination, the diagnosis of eosinophilic fasciitis was confirmed.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion: PET/CT made it possible, together with clinical and laboratory data, to assume the diagnosis of eosinophilic fasciitis, excluding paraneoplastic syndrome, and also to determine the optimal area for biopsy.</p></sec></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>18F-фтордезоксиглюкоза</kwd><kwd>ПЭТ/КТ</kwd><kwd>эозинофильный фасциит</kwd><kwd>синдром Шульмана</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>18F-fluorodeoxyglucose</kwd><kwd>PET/CT</kwd><kwd>eosinophilic fasciitis</kwd><kwd>Schulman syndrome</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Torres V, George W.
